Hello, and welcome to my website! I’m thrilled to share my passion for global macro investing, behavioural finance, and impact investing with you.
I’m an investment manager with over 15 years of experience in the financial markets. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, including trader, Head Trader, Chief Market Strategist, Chief Investment Officer, and CEO. I’ve been through the Global Financial Crisis in 2008, the European Sovereign Debt Crisis, Brexit, the global pandemic, and many other major financial, economic, and geopolitical events impacting the markets. I’ve also been fortunate to share my insights on the financial markets and the economy with the Chilean media as a regularly consulted expert since 2010.
Currently, I’m a candidate for the Executive MBA at the University of Oxford, which has been an incredibly enriching experience.
My education also includes a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Financial Management, and an MA in International Political Economy. These diverse fields of study have given me a unique perspective on how finance, economics, business, and politics intersect in our globalised world.
I’m based in Vancouver, Canada, but split my time between London and Oxford in the UK, and Santiago, Chile.
One area that has particularly caught my attention in recent years is impact investing. I believe that finance can be a powerful tool for positive change, and I’m excited to explore how I can make a difference through my work.
